Addressing the gathering, the minister said that Baba Vishwakarma gave the message of manual labour to the world. “It is a matter of pride for all of us today that we have given respect to manual labour and its importance cannot be denied. Baba Vishwakarma is a source of inspiration for the entire humanity and by following the path shown by him, many evils can be eradicated from society,” he said. The minister said that Lord Vishwakarma had given a new direction to craft and development of technology, due to which he was recognised as an important creator worldwide.

Calling upon people to fight for Guru and Gurbani, he said that today it was necessary to connect children with Gurbani because this is one true way by which they can contribute to the creation of a healthy society while avoiding social evils.
