Vajra Hockey League begins on Nov 18

The much-anticipated Vajra Punjab Hockey League 2024 – Season I, organised by the Vajra Corps, would kick off at Jalandhar Cantt from November 18 to 23. The tournament would bring together teams from across the state to showcase their talent and competitive spirit.

Beyond promoting hockey, the league aims to inspire youth towards healthier lifestyles, sportsmanship and positive living.

The winning team will receive a prize of Rs 2 lakh, with the second and third-place teams earning Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000, respectively. The opening and closing ceremonies would feature cultural performances, a street play on anti-drug abuse and a live band performance, making the event even more special for the audience. — TNS
