Amidst reports of black-marketing and to ensure the uninterrupted availability of DAP fertiliser to farmers, Chief Agriculture Officer Jaswinder Singh, along with his team, conducted inspections at the establishments of fertiliser dealers across the district.

The stocks of four agro fertiliser dealers in Nabha and Rajpura were inspected.

Dr Jaswinder Singh has urged farmers to report any instance where a fertiliser dealer is charging higher than the set price or pressuring them to buy additional products. Such cases can be reported to the Agriculture Department for prompt action under the Fertilizer Control Order of 1985.
