Union Minister reviews schemes in Panchkula district
Panchkula, June 13
Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Kaushal Kishore here today held a meeting with district officials to review 13 schemes of the Central Government and directed them to provide benefits to eligible beneficiaries at the earliest.
Kishore said maximum publicity should be given to these schemes so that people could avail their benefits. He urged private banks to give loans to beneficiaries under the Central schemes. Speaking on the occasion Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta suggested that the Central Government schemes should be reviewed regularly for their effective implementation. Lok Sabha MP Ratanlal Kataria said Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had constituted the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority for Panchkula. SDM Richa Rathi, the Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Gagandeep Singh, Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Chauhan, Deputy Director, Agriculture Department, Surendra Singh Yadav, District Ayurvedic Officer Dalip Mishra and officials of various departments were among those present at the meeting.
