Unhygienic conditions at Jammu railway station

Afew days ago when I visited Jammu railway station to drop one of my relative, the poor and unhygienic conditions prevailing outside the station repulsed me. Solid waste dumped all around, potholed road and lack of civic sense among the shopkeepers imprints a negative image of Jammu to tourists. The government should take steps to improve the basic infrastructure outside the station.

Haphazard parking outside school

Despite the traffic police launching a major drive to streamline vehicle movement in Jammu, it seems they are ignoring the way parents are parking their vehicles outside schools while picking or dropping their wards. It is a problem mainly on the highways and motorists are afraid to travel at times. Steps should be taken to address this issue.
