A city-based NGO, Eduyouth Foundation, distributed winter clothes on the occasion of Lohri. The event took place at Guru Nanak Mission Netarheen Ashram at Sapror village here today.

Woollen items such as sweaters, socks and gloves were distributed among over 50 underprivileged kids.

Apart from distributing clothes, members of the NGO also engaged in Lohri celebrations with the children. The festivities included singing songs and distributing peanuts, revdis and refreshments.

Prof Kanwar Sartaj Singh, president of the NGO, emphasised the moral duty to uplift every section of society.
