Naik Dilwar had joined the Indian Army at the age of 18 in 2014 and was currently a part of the 28 Rashtriya Rifles engaged in ‘Operation Kovut’ against infiltrators.

The soldier’s body reached Gharvasada around 2 pm today. The soldier’s wife, mother and father were inconsolable as they reached there to get a glimpse of their beloved one, who was draped in the Tricolour. Villagers raised the slogans of ‘Dilwar Khan amar rahe’ and ‘Pakistan murdabad’ while Army officials led the body to the village’s burial ground.
