To improve transportation for students, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP)-led Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) launched U-Special buses on North Campus on Tuesday. The initiative, spearheaded by DUSU, aims to provide efficient and accessible transportation for students across the campus.

The launch event was attended by DUSU president Tushar Dedha, secretary Aprajita and joint secretary Sachin Baisla, alongside university officials, including proctor Rajni Abbi and deputy proctor Saurabh.

DUSU president Tushar Dedha expressed his satisfaction with the launch, stating, “The reinstatement of U-Special buses has been a long-standing demand of the ABVP-led DUSU. Ensuring accessible and affordable transportation for students is our topmost priority. Today, we have successfully allocated the past three years’ DUSU fund, amounting to Rs 70 lakh, to make this initiative a reality.”
