Local cricketers Harnoor Singh and Raj Angad Bawa helped India U-19 team to defeat Ireland by 174 runs in the ongoing ICC U-19 World Cup, being played at Trinidad, West Indies.
Harnoor Singh, who was adjudged man of the match, scored 88 off 101 balls, studded with 12 boundaries, while Bawa posted 42 off 64 balls, including two bounders and a six. The duo helped the side score 307 runs in the allotted 50 overs.

In reply, Ireland was bundled out for 133 runs in the 39th over.
Sanjay Tandon, president, Union Territory Cricket Association, Chandigarh, appealed both players to take extra precaution amid rising Covid cases.
