Two IPS, 14 HPPS officers transferred
In a major administrative reshuffle, Himachal Pradesh government today transferred two Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and 14 Himachal Pradesh Police Service (HPPS) officers.
As per the official notification that was issued here today, 2018-batch IPS Rajesh Kumar who is serving as Commandant, Home Guards and Fire Services goes as Superintendent of Police (Leave Reserve) while 2021-batch IPS Abhishek who is under the order of transfer as Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Amb in Una goes as SDPO, Baddi in Solan district. The government has also transferred 2006-batch HPPS officer Naresh Kumar as SP (Leave Reserve).
2006-batch HPPS officer Vinod Kumar who was serving as SP (Welfare) in Police Headquarters, Shimla has been posted as Assistant Inspector General (AIG), Traffic, Tourist & Railways (TT&R) in Shimla while Pankaj Sharma, Commandant, 1st Battalion Home Guards in Kinnaur, has been transferred to the post of SP (Welfare).
Sushil Kumar, has been transferred to the post of SP (Prisons) in Shimla; Suresh Kumar, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), 2nd Indian Reserve Battalion Sakoh, Kangra goes as Commandant, 1st Battalion Home Guards, Kinnaur; Som Dutt, ASP, awaiting posting at Police Headquarters, Shimla goes as ASP, 3rd Indian Reserve Battalion Pandoh, Mandi; Amar Singh, DSP, 3rd Indian Reserve Battalion Pandoh will be DSP, 1st Himachal Pradesh Armed Police Battalion, Junga in Shimla; Shakti Singh, DSP, Crime, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Shimla goes as DSP (Leave Reserve), Shimla; Ajay Kumar who was awaiting posting at Police Headquarters, Shimla has been transferred to the post of DSP, 2nd Indian Reserve Battalion, Sakoh.
Vikram Chauhan, HPPS (2017), DSP awaiting posting at Police Headquarters goes as DSP Crime in CID, Shimla; Dev Raj DSP (HQ), Mandi has been transferred as SDPO, Padhar while Dinesh Kumar, SDPO, Padhar has been transferred as DSP (HQ), Mandi.
Sanjeev Kumar, DSP awaiting posting at Police Headquarters, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, goes as SDPO in Dharampur, Mandi and Om Parkash, DSP, 1st Himachal Pradesh Armed Police Battalion, Junga goes as DSP, 3rd Indian Reserve Battalion Pandoh.
