The Bilga police have arrested two villagers for violating an order duly promulgated by a public servant by burning paddy stubble fields. Investigating officer (IO) Avtar Lal said the suspects had been identified as Sulakhan Singh, a resident of Talwann village, and Bindu Yadan, alias Vinod Kumar, a resident of Lidharr Kalan village. The IO said a case under Section 223 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the BNS was registered against the suspects on November 22.
