Two ambulance vans flagged off in Sriganganagar
Sadulshehar MLA Gurveer Singh Brar and Chief Medical Health Officer (CMHO) Ajay Singla flagged off two well-equipped ambulance vans at Sriganganagar today. These would be used to provide timely relief to the victims of road mishaps, besides patients who need emergency support, Brar said.
The MLA earlier inspected both ambulances and took stock of the arrangements. He also welcomed the two pilots who arrived with the ambulances by garlanding them.
The Sriganganagar CMHO said that the two ambulances were meant for Sriganganagar and Anoopgarh. Chunawadh and Hindumalkot have also received advanced life support ambulances.
Programme manager of the 108 ambulance service Shiv Singh Jadaun said that emergency medicines, oxygen, ECG, BP, ventilator, multi-parameter, infusion pump, suction machine, AED machine and other modern machines were available in the advanced life support ambulances.
