People recorded the bizarre scene in the hospital and most of them stood at a distance from the man, in fear for their lives, praying that the reptile does not slip off the man's hand.

A video also showed a man escorting Prakash to a secluded area to ensure everyone’s safety. Prakash Mandal then laid on the floor and held the snake tightly with his right hand.

Another video showed him lying on a stretcher with the snake. Even in pain he made sure that he held the snake tight and does not slip from his hand.

However, for the doctors it was difficult to treat him with the snake in his hand, which he finally let go.

Russell's Viper is a highly venomous terrestrial snake.
