Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey recently shared a video of a flash mob organised at Nariman Point, Mumbai, which has impressed Twitterati. In the video, a group of people are enjoying their synchronised moves to a fun song.

The video, according to the police chief reflects the spirit of ‘Mumbaikars’. Describing his thought in few words, he captioned it, “Nariman Point today, Mumbaikarts.”

In no time, the video where the energetic lot of dancers is grooving to ‘In Da Getty’ by J Balvin and Skrillex went viral.

The visuals show, a camera mounted on a tripod, speakers playing the song at the open space as these ‘Mumbaikars’ dance. Some people can be seen cycling around the flash mob but that doesn’t stop the happy dancers from their performance. The clip has received almost 87,000 views and over 1800 likes so far.

Appreciating the dancers and the initiative, many social media users commented on the video. A user wrote, “Sir, people will miss the fun on Sunday street after you retire…. Amazing video.”

Another person tweeted, “Wonderful sir, was born, brought up and live in Mumbai, but have never seen any Commissioner involve citizens in decision making like u do. Hats off. Please also teach the head of each police station across Mumbai to behave and act like their boss.”

A tweet reads, “Very Positive, Healthy and ground to the earth. Head of the Department of Mumbai Police spents his valuble time with citizen of Mumbai on early Sunday morning. Hats off to you Sir.”

Yet another user wrote, “Hats Off to the Mumbai Police for bringing Mumbai together. At home I enjoyed the fun with goosebumps and tears of JOY.”
