Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh kicked off the India leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour on Saturday at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Fans flooded the venue, sparking a wave of excitement that created traffic snarls and long lines around the stadium. Some of them had queued up for hours, eagerly awaiting the return of their beloved artist to India.

Amid the concert’s frenzy, one initiative took social media by storm. Volunteers from the matrimonial site Jeevansathi.com were seen handing out water bottles to single attendees outside the venue. Sporting white T-shirts with the slogan ‘Singles Ko Paani Pilao Yojana,’ they distributed bottles labelled with a message, ‘Jeevansathi pe aa gaye hote toh aaj ye bottle nahi uska haath pakda hota,’ (If you’d joined Jeevansathi, you’d be holding hands instead of a bottle).

Social media was quick to react.
