Chandigarh, February 19

A snow sculpture in the heart town of Gulmarg has become talk of the town. The sculpture was built by members of Grand Mumtaz Hotels and photographs were also share by them on their Twitter account. The team took this decision to attract more tourists.

Earlier, the Igloo Café became the centre of attraction in the town, but now snow Taj Mahal sculpture seems to surpass the former in terms of attracting visitors. The reports suggest that it took almost 17 days to complete the sculpture.

Its height is around 16 feet and it covers the area of 24 feet by 24 feet. Tourists who are visiting Gulmarg, are not leaving the city without observing the beauty of this amazing art.

“We wanted to create some resemblance with the name of the hotel keeping in mind to create something that can be talked about for a long time. We wanted to make it memorable for people. Approximately 100 hours of time has gone into this. This place has already become a centre of attraction for tourists,” said Satyajeet Gopal, General Manager of Grand Mumtaz Hotel.
