Chandigarh, July 8
A man in Florida is facing felony robbery charge after he allegedly try to withdraw a cent from Central Florida bank, according to New York Post.
Michael Fleming allegedly went into the branch in Lady Lake, on June 29 and passed a withdrawal slip for 1 cent to a bank teller, according to Fox 35 Orlando.
When the banker told Fleming that he couldn’t withdraw a penny, he said, “So you want me to say the other word?” police said.
The bizarre response of the 41-year-old frightened the bank employee and he called the security.
Deputies said they had probable cause to believe he violated robbery laws though their conversation with him was kept out of the report.
No other details of his conversation with the teller were made public.
Fleming was booked and held on a $5,000 bond, according to online jail records.
