In a viral video, three traffic policemen in Delhi were caught on CCTV camera allegedly dividing bribe money at a police checkpost in Gazipur of Thrill Lauri Circle.

The footage shows one of the policemen arguing with a man inside the checkpost. Following the exchange, the officer gestures to the man, who then places a bundle of money on a table behind the cop. The policeman, keeping a lookout, proceeds to count the money once the man leaves.

In a subsequent clip, the same officer is seen sitting with two others, dividing the cash between them. The other two policemen, reportedly an assistant sub-inspector and a head constable, can be seen smiling as they receive their share of the money.

The video has gone viral on social media, prompting Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena to respond. Taking to X, Saxena confirmed that the three policemen involved had been suspended and that a comprehensive departmental inquiry was underway.

‘Taking cognizance of this post, after preliminary investigation, the above 3 policemen have been suspended and a comprehensive departmental inquiry is being conducted against them,’ he tweeted.
