Manual collection system causing traffic jams

There is no doubt that the car parking near the lift is a big relief for tourists and locals alike. However, the ever-busy parking proves to be a big headache for people while exiting. It takes commuters 15 to 20 minutes to get out of the parking area, thanks to the manual charge collection system. Often, drivers have to pay higher parking charges due to this delay which is not their fault. Some drivers from the plains, who may not be proficient in handling the steep ascent, often end up damaging parts of their cars here. The problem can be solved by having payment counters on at least three floors when the outflow of vehicles is heavy. The possibility of a FASTag-like system for payment of parking fee can also be explored to mitigate this hardship.
