Trade Fair returns with unique experiences
The India International Trade Fair (IITF), one of the most anticipated events in the National Capital, is set to take place from November 14 to November 27 at the Bharat Mandapam.
This year, the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation will showcase its own pavilion, while the Ministry of Mines will offer an interactive and engaging experience. Visitors can explore India’s rich mineral heritage through a virtual reality mine experience and enjoy a special kids’ zone designed to educate and entertain.
The trade fair promises a vibrant and diverse experience with attractions for all age groups. Local artisans will exhibit their handicrafts, offering exclusive deals to visitors, while pavilions from eight countries will add an international flavor to the event. Daily cultural performances, a musical fountain show, and state day celebrations will keep attendees entertained. Food enthusiasts can explore a variety of culinary delights at numerous food stalls, making the event a complete day-out destination for families.
In a move to simplify visitor access, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and ITPO have collaborated to introduce QR code-based ticketing through the DMRC mobile application. Visitors can also purchase tickets in person at select metro stations, with a maximum limit of 10 tickets per person per day. Ticket prices range from Rs 40 to Rs 500, depending on the day and the visitor’s age, with options available for both business and public visitors.
