While working on the mystery behind the blind murder case of a 52-year-old paying guest (PG) operator, the Gurugram police have arrested three accused, including two women.
The main accused, a woman along with another woman and a man, had allegedly murdered the PG operator to avoid the liability of Rs 10 lakh and thrown his body on the Rewari-Narnaul road.
A car used in the incident and the gold chain of the deceased were recovered from the accused.
According to the police, on November 23, a person lodged a complaint at the Manesar police station and stated that on November 22, his father Rajendra (52) had gone in his car from Shikohpur village to his PG located in Sector 1 at the IMT, Manesar. He did not reach home until the morning of November 23. When he went to search for his father Rajendra, his father's car was parked on the service lane of the highway from IMT Chowk towards his village. The car was locked, but his father was not there. After this, an FIR was registered at the Manesar police station and the case was handed over to the crime branch, Manesar.
While investigating the matter, a team of the crime unit, Manesar, led by sub-inspector Lalit Kumar, cracked the mystery behind the murder and arrested two accused on Saturday night. The accused were identified as Sushama (42), a resident of Sector 1 of IMT, Manesar, and Anil (37), a resident of Naurangbas Rajputana village in Charkhi Dadri district.
During interrogation, it was revealed that main accused Sushma has shuttering work where accused Anil had used his vehicles for Sushma's work. Accused Sushma and the victim Rajendra knew each other and Rajendra had given Rs 10 lakh to Sushma for investing in the committee. Sushma had spent the money of deceased Rajendra instead of investing it in the committee and told Rajendra that the money had been given to Seema. When the deceased Rajendra asked Sushma to meet Seema regarding his money, Sushma, along with her fellow Anil and Seema, planned to murder of Rajendra, for which Sushma promised Seema to give her Rs 50,000.
