Phagwara: The police have booked three miscreants on the charge of snatching cash and a mobile phone from a youth. Manpreet Singh of Chak Mandala village complained to the police that he was returning home on the November 16 evening when three motorcycle-borne miscreants waylaid him near Manak Dera Bias and snatched his purse containing Rs 10,000 and a mobile phone. A case under the BNS has been registered against the accused.

Villager booked for farm fire

Phagwara: The police have booked a villager for burning stubble. The police had received an online report on burning a paddy stubble field in Chak Bundala village. A case under the BNS has been registered against the suspect.

54-year-old man missing

Phagwara: A 54-year-old man of Mohalla Preet Nagar, Nakodar, has been missing for the last eight days. Davindar Singh (54) son of Amar Singh went from the house without telling anybody and did not return home and a missing report has been registered in this connection.
