Three aides of lady don Manisha nabbed
A day after the police nabbed Lady don Manisha, wife of jailed gangster Kaushal Chaudhary, cops arrested her three accomplices today.
The accused have been identified as Suresh, Vedvati and Meenakshi. Suresh is a father of Manisha, Vedvati is wife of a henchman of the Kaushal gang and Meenakshi is a friend of the lady don.
ACP (Crime) Varun Dahiya said those nabbed were involved in extortion racket. He said they used to give Manisha shelter during her visits to Gurugram.
“All three accused were in regular touch with Manisha. They used to get money after completing the tasks assigned to them. Manisha has been remanded in six-day police custody,” said Dahiya.
On Monday, the Gurugram police had nabbed Manisha for demanding extortion of Rs 2 crore from a hotel’s owner in the name of Kaushal Chaudhary and Amit Dagar gang. Two mobile phones had been seized from her possession.
