Events like the Children Science Congress (CSC) enhance creativity and innovation among young minds.

This was stated by Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani while recently addressing the closing ceremony of the two-day CSC at Government Senior Secondary School, Dadhol, in Bilaspur.

He said science models and innovations presented by the students fostered scientific thinking and creativity among them.

Organising such events enabled children to build a better future in the field of science and technology, the Minister added.

During the event, he announced financial assistance of Rs 15 lakh for the construction of a basketball court on the school campus.

Dharmani said teachers should encourage students and recognise their potential to refine their skills.

Science competitions not only enhanced talents of students, but also inspired them to become future scientists and researchers, he added.

As many as 455 students from 82 schools of the Ghumarwin education block participated in event. Dharmani felicitated the winners of CSC with prizes.
