A delegation of 10 German teachers visited ‘Virasat’, the heritage village, in Kurukshetra as part of a cultural exchange programme.

Dr Maha Singh Poonia, the coordinator of Virasat, said, “The delegation observed Haryana's traditional modes of transportation and expressed admiration for Haryanvi culture by offering prayers at Dada Khera. They were provided insights into various aspects of Haryanvi culture. The delegation also viewed historical artifacts from Haryana and the members were impressed by a door over 100 years old.”

“Haryanvi culture and handmade ‘fuljhadi’ represent a unique craft of Haryana, which boasts a rich culture and heritage," said Angelica Hoff, a representative of the German delegation, after visiting Virasat, the Heritage Village.

The German delegation also included Leonie Maas, Sabrina, Salina, Laura, Anelia, and Mahim.
