Tax official holds meeting with bizmen

On the directions of the Financial Commissioner, Taxation, Krishan Kumar, and Deputy Commissioner State Taxes, (Ludhiana division), the Assistant Commissioner, State Taxes (Ludhiana 1), Deepak Bhatia, held a meeting with iron and steel industry associations, dry fruit sellers, bicycle industry and other industries here on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Avon Ispat, Aarti Steel India, Aarti International, Divyansh International and Hero Cycles, among others.

During the meeting, discussions were held on various methods and measures adopted by the department to ensure maximum tax compliance and collections ahead of the upcoming festival season.
