Chandigarh, October 21

In a heartfelt tribune to late actor Sidharth Shukla, his swansong Habit has been released one day earlier on Wednesday, October 20. It was demand made by SidNaaz fans. On its release, Sherya Ghoshal wrote on her Twitter account, “Thousands of #SidNaaz fans wanted the song immediately. Who are we to come in the way? #HABIT OUT NOW.” Music label Saregama too shared the same sentiments as it posted the video of the song.

Sung by Shrey Ghoshal and Arko, who has also composed the song, the video of Habit begins with Shehnaaz Gill holding mic and remembering Sidharth. She says, ““Bichda iss kadar ki rut hi badal gayi, ek shaks saare sheher ko viraan kar gaya.”

It is followed by behind the scene (BTS) footage of the song that was shot in Goa. The makers have completed the song with these visuals because Sidharth couldn’t complete the shooting. The late actor died on September 2.

Seeing their favourite couple together one last time, the fans can’t hold back their emotions. They have flooded the internet with messages of love and heartbreak. Here are some of the posts.

A fan wrote, “#Habit is not a song, it’s an event! @ishehnaaz_gill and #SidharthShukIa ‘s bonding is timeless Legend @shreyaghoshal’s voice is simply magical”

Another message reads, his hands holding hers, cut to her hand holding the mic.”

One user said, “#Habit is Certainly Going to Break All Records… ‘INSPIRATIONAL SHEHNAAZ’.”

“”What’s a queen without her king?” “Well, historically speaking, more powerful.” #SidNaaz #Habit #HabitFtSidNaazOutNow,” was another tweet.

Earlier the song was renamed from Habit to Adhura since it was left incomplete due to the sad demise of Sidharth. But the fans objected to the new name and makers agreed to the demands of SidNaaz fans and Habit returned to its original title.

“He was a star and will be forever… The love of millions of hearts will shine bright forever. #Habit our unfinished song.. #Adhura hai par phir bhi poora rahega.. #Sidnaaz ka yeh aakhri gaana, har fan ki khwahish, hamesha ke liye humare dilon mein zinda rahega (It is incomplete yet it will be complete. The last song of Sidnaaz, the wish of every fan, will stay alive in our hearts forever),” Shreya had written in a previous post.
