The head teacher of Government School, Millanpur, who was suspended in September after she failed to take the exam in the school due to “paucity of funds” is yet to receive her half salary.

Khushminder Kaur said: “Suspended government employees are entitled to half salary. For the last 40-45 days, I have not received my half pay.”

She added that the department staff was not giving a satisfactory reply regarding the delay. The CM had issued a letter to various departments that salary of no employee should be withheld, still I am not able to get the pay, she rued. Dimple Madan, DEO (Secondary) could not be contacted.
