Love for fun and thrill was in the air when the pre-primary and primary graders of Amity International School, Mohali, indulged in fun, frolic, games and dance on the final day of their virtual academic session.

The school had begun its virtual journey in the month of April last year amidst the fear of lockdown and chaos; but imparting value-based education and holistic development had always been the utmost priority of the educators at the school and was very well achieved in their very first academic year!

During the ‘Fun and Frolic Show’, the students enjoyed one-minute games like making towers of biscuits which taught them resilience — to try hard till one succeeds, they also played games like picking up pasta with the toothpick and piercing it into tomato which helped them remained focused amidst the chaos!

To add to the celebration the virtual platform was set on fire by the Rahul, the dance facilitator, who made them perform few Zumba steps and set them rocking. Later, they all settled down to watch a movie ‘Crow’ which gave them the message that said that ‘sky is the limit to fly’! The mood was upbeat and the show was conducted on line to kindle the spirit of togetherness and strengthen the bond with the educators with whom they had been throughout the academic year. Principal Urvashi Kakkar applauded the efforts of children and expressed her gratitude towards the parents for their unflinching support and cooperation in the unprecedented times.
