Stage set for Minjar fair, Chamba artistes audition

Auditions for the cultural events of Minjar Fair-2024 began on Monday, with 43 artistes from Bharmour and Pangi subdivisions trying their luck at the auditions.

District Language Officer Tukesh Sharma said today’s auditions were held at Government Senior Secondary School (Boys), Chamba.

Auditions for artistes from the Salooni and Tissa subdivisions will be held on July 23, while auditions for artistes from Bhattiyat and Dalhousie subdivisions will be held on July 24, he added, stating that auditions for the Chamba subdivision will be held on July 25.

A screening committee was formed by the administration. The committee includes District Language Officer Tukesh Sharma, District Public Relations Officer Balbir Singh, Assistant Professor Sachin, musician Piyush Raj, music instructor Gulshan Pal and artistes Ajit Bhatt, KS Premi and Deepak Sharma.
