The school hosted a vibrant rally to celebrate Green Diwali, promoting eco-friendly practices among students and the community. The event drew enthusiastic participation from students, teachers and all staff members united in their commitment to celebrate the festival responsibly. Vice-Principal Sr Regina kicked off the rally with a colourful procession around the school campus, featuring eye-catching banners and posters that conveyed messages about the importance of reducing pollution during the festive season. The students encouraged their peers to adopt eco-friendly alternatives, such as using earthen lamps (diyas), organic decorations, and celebrating with family and friends instead of contributing to pollution. Sr Regina said, “Our aim is to inspire everyone to think about the environment while enjoying the festivities. Every small step counts.” The event concluded with a pledge where students committed to celebrating Diwali in an environmentally friendly manner. By avoiding firecrackers and choosing sustainable options, the students aimed to lead by example and inspire their families and communities.
