New Delhi, September 1

PM Modi spoke to Mona Aggarwal, Preeti Pal, Manish Narwal and Rubina Francis and congratulated the medal winners for making the country proud with their performance, an official said.

He wished Avani Lekhara all the best for her upcoming competitions as she could not talk to the Prime Minister on phone because she was participating in another competition.

India has won five medals at the Paris Paralympics, including one gold medal, so far. Avani Lekhara had won the gold medal for India in the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 event, while Mona won the bronze in the same event.
