For Bengaluru Bulls, Nitin Rawal bagged seven points while Pardeep Narwal and Sushil scored six points each. For Gujarat Giants, who led for most parts of the game, Rakesh registered seven points and Neeraj got a ‘High 5’ as well.

Surya, Shivam smash it for Mumbai in Mushtaq Trophy

India’s T20 skipper Suryakumar Yadav smashed 70 off 46 balls in his first appearance in the 2024 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy while Shivam Dube capped his return from a three-month long injury lay-off with a scintillating 37-ball 71 as Mumbai outplayed Services by 39 runs in a Group E match here on Tuesday. Mumbai scored 192/4, while Services were all out for 153.

Spinner Sufiyan Muqeem took career-best figures of five wickets for three runs in 2.4 overs as Pakistan thrashed hosts Zimbabwe by 10 wickets to clinch the three-match T20I series with a game to spare. After electing to bat, Zimbabwe were bundled out for 57 in 12.4 overs, their lowest ever score in T20 matches. Pakistan made light work of the chase and reached their target with 87 balls remaining.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are still popular and respected by their fellow players even though they no longer play for European clubs. The 37-year-old Messi and 39-year-old Ronaldo were the only players not with clubs in Europe to be voted on a 26-man shortlist for the world team of the year organized by global players’ union FIFPRO. The other 24 nominees played in the past year with clubs in England, Germany, Spain and France.
