Soni, Azad to visit Jammu on Jan 16

All-India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary and incharge of J&K UT affairs Ambika Soni and AICC general secretary and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad are visiting Jammu for two days on January 16-17.
As per senior Congress leaders, they will meet party workers and senior leaders to take stock of the current political and security situation.
According to a statement, “The two AICC leaders will interact with senior party functionaries, including former ministers and former legislators, to take stock of the current political and security scenario in the state.”
Senior leaders from Jammu and Kashmir will meet the AICC leaders and brief them about the prevailing scenario. A meeting of PCC executive is also scheduled to be held during their stay to discuss the current political development and road map for the party.
