Sidhu Moosewala's manager Shagan Preet Singh seeks pre-arrest bail

Chandigarh, June 28

Claiming to be facing “serious threats” from alleged gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s manager Shagan Preet Singh today moved the Punjab and Haryana High Court, seeking anticipatory bail in the murder case of Youth Akali Dal leader Vikramjeet, alias Vicky Middukhera.

The directions have also been sought for the protection of life and liberty.

In the two petitions filed before the HC today, Shagan Preet asked for the issuance of directions to the state of Punjab and other respondents to provide him with adequate security on the ground of serious threat from Bishnoi, Brar and their associates.

One of the petitions has been filed through counsel Gaurav Dutta, Kanika Ahuja, Manish Modi and Srishtti S Sharma. Both matters are expected to be argued by senior advocate Vinod Ghai after they come up for hearing later this week.
