After taking gangster Lawrence Bishnoi into seven-day custody, the Mansa police have taken three others — Monu Dagar, Pawan Bishnoi and Naseeb Khan — on seven-day remand in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case and are conducting their joint cross-examination.

While Bishnoi has been kept at Kharar, the three others are being questioned in Mansa.

Sources said the SIT conducted cross-examination of Daggar and Bishnoi. Daggar is accused of provided two sharpshooters for the killing.

It is learnt the police were working on a lead that had come up during probe that the assailants reportedly buried the weapons near the Punjab and Haryana border after the killing, fearing carrying these might put them at risk. The Punjab Police are carrying out search operations to seize the weapons, said sources.
