After two below-normal rainfall months, August breached the normal rainfall mark a couple of days ago.

The weatherman said the August-end and the first week of September were likely to see wet spells. They reasoned that monsoon has turned normal. The weather conditions from the northwest and Bay of Bengal were favourable for rainfall. Active western disturbance was also likely over the next few days and would cause more precipitation in the City Beautiful.
