Shots fired at house in Kantian village

Bike-borne youths opened fire at a house in Kantian village on Friday night. One bullet hit main gate of the house. A CCTV camera footage of the incident showed a few youths riding motorcycles in the village who allegedly fired shots at the house. After receiving information about the incident, officials from the Hariana police station reached the spot at night and started investigation.

Giving information, Jaspreet, a resident of Kantian village, said he works as a JCB machine operator. He said two days ago, he had a minor dispute with a youth. He alleged that the youth along with 12 other persons came to his village yesterday night around 9 pm and fired four shots at his house out of which one hit the main gate. Jaspreet said he could identify some of the suspects. He said when shots were fired, his family was present at home. Jaspreet has demanded strict action against the suspects. Daljit Singh from the Hariana police station said an FIR had been registered in this connection and probe initiated into the matter.
