Seminar on entrepreneurship awareness held
Offset Printers’ Association, Amritsar, in collaboration with MSME department, organised a seminar on ‘Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme & Self-employment Opportunities’.
Chief guest Ishita Thaman, Deputy Director, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises-Development and Facilitation Office, Ludhiana, and guest of honour Gaurav Gupta, Assistant Director, Engineering Export Promotion Council, Jalandhar, and AGM, State Bank of India, Satwinder Singh addressed the seminar. The guests were introduced by Dr Sanjay Mahajan, general secretary, Offset Printers’ Association, Amritsar, while president Harbhajan Singh welcomed them.
Thaman gave information about the schemes being run by the department and urged traders to take advantage of it.
Gaurav gave detailed information about the procedures and promotion of exports.
Satwinder gave tips to members to avoid difficulties in getting loans from banks.
Dr Mahajan said the seminar would benefit the business class. Ramesh Mahajan proposed a vote of thanks. Among others present on the occasion were Raman Kumar, Sachin Mehra, Prabhjeet Singh, Hardeep Singh, Armandeep Singh, Sandeep Kumar, Sumit Khanna, Manish Khanna and Motilal.
