Seeking widening of flyover in Sonepat, traders submit memo to Badoli, MLA

A delegation of the ‘Vyapar Mandal’ and various social organisations on Friday submitted a memorandum to state BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli and MLA Nikhil Madaan for the widening of the flyover on the Mission road side.

Sanjay Verma, chairman of Jila Vyapar Mandal; president Sanjay Singla; spokesperson and Kath mandi president Pawan Taneja; Ravinder Saroha, treasurer; Praveen Verma, president, Samaj Sewa Samiti; YK Tyagi, chairman, Safe India foundation, along with Naveen Garg, Naresh Verma, Shashikant Bhardwaj, Annu Atri and MC Surender Madaan were present.

The delegation demanded the widening of the flyover towards Mission road, construction of stairs on both sides and maintenance of the Sarang road railway underbridge by breaking the walls of the old railway crossing.

Badoli and MLA Madaan assured the delegation that the issue of widening of the flyover had already been raised in the Assembly during the recently held session and it would soon be decided after a discussion round with the officials concerned.

MLA Madaan further said the survey for the construction of stairs had been conducted and the demand would soon be completed.
