The cops are also investigating the role of others in the case. Sources said a few persons based in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, who are known to Rohan, had been brought to Chandigarh and were being questioned.

A team of the Chandigarh Police also interrogated Rohan, who is at present in custody of the Punjab Police. Some associates of US-based Harpreet Singh, alias Happy Passia, who provided the hand grenade and weapons, arranged money for Rohan and Vishal, had also been identified. Raids are being conducted by the Punjab Police to apprehend them.

The sources said the auto driver, Kuldeep, who was nabbed a few hours after the blast, had been taken to Punjab for a face-to-face meeting with Rohan.

A team travelled to J&K where Rohan had been working for the past few years. The grenade blast was orchestrated by ISI-backed and Pakistan-based terrorist Harwinder Singh, alias Rinda, from Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), along with US-based Harpreet Singh, alias Happy Passia. Rohan, a resident of Passia village in Amritsar, was instructed by Passia to attack the house and promised money.
