District Magistrate Shantanu Sharma has announced strict security measures for the upcoming undergraduate and postgraduate examinations organised by Ch Devi Lal University. To ensure peaceful conduct of the exams, Section 163 of the Indian National Security Act will be enforced at all exam centres. The exams will take place at the CV Raman Building, Science Block, and Government National College, SES Campus in Sirsa.

According to the orders issued by the District Magistrate, the exams will be held until October 11. No person will be allowed to carry weapons or any other prohibited items within a 200-meter radius of the exam centres. Only designated staff and officials will be permitted entry into the examination centres.

Additionally, photocopy shops within this 200-m perimeter will remain closed during the exam period. These restrictions do not apply to police or other government officials on duty. Violators of these orders will face legal action under Section 223 of the Indian National Security Act.
