A special assembly was organised to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversary. The core values of Gandhi were explained by the students. The school choir sang Gandhi’s favourite bhajan, “Vaishnav Jan To”, with exuberance and a spirit of patriotism. To ensure that these values were deeply instilled in the children, they participated in various activities, such as role-play and paragraph writing. A cleanliness drive was conducted to help children imbibe the ideologies of Gandhi and Shastri in their lives. Principal Rani Poddar encouraged the students to inculcate these values through the stories she shared with them.
