In an effort to spread awareness about vital health and safety issues, the school organised an impactful workshop on ‘Cervical Cancer Awareness’ in collaboration with the International Inner Wheel Blissful Club for the girl students of classes VIII to XII. The session was led by Dr Akanksha Nigam, MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology), with advanced fellowships in Reproductive Medicine and Cosmetic Gynaecology. Dr Nigam, currently serving as an Associate Consultant at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, captivated the students with her in-depth knowledge and approachable style. The workshop aimed to educate students about the importance of early cervical cancer detection and personal safety. The event concluded with a heartfelt note of appreciation from the school principal, who praised Dr Nigam for her invaluable contribution to healthcare and society. As a token of gratitude, the principal presented her with a sapling on behalf of the school, thanking her for her efforts.
