St Thomas’ School, Shimla, celebrates Annual Day for classes V to VIII
The school celebrated its Annual Day for classes V to VIII. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and guests. Dr Ranu Thakur, Principal of HP College of Education, was the chief guest. The programme showcased the talented students of classes V to VIII. Parents attended the programme, which featured many items like welcome song, prayer dance, teachers’ choir, Hindi play “Narmada”, rag mala and school anthem. A welcome speech was delivered by Aastha Thakur of Class VIII. Principal Vidhupriya Chakravarty presented the school report, highlighting achievements in various fields. Students received prizes in categories. Saksham Thakur of Class IV got the third place in general proficiency, Shourya Chanalia was awarded for good conduct, while Aliza awarded for full attendance. From Class V, Navi got first, Vivaan got second, and Abhinav got the third prize in general proficiency, and Mehak for good conduct. From Class VI, Devina got the first prize, Kritika got the second prize, and Kanishka got the third prize in general proficiency and Diva for good conduct, Kanishka and Muhammad for full attendance. Form Class VII, Saksham got the first prize, Isha got the second, and Aastha got the third in general proficiency, Angel Shama and Aakash for good conduct, Aastha Thakur and Deepanshi for full attendance. Dr Ranu Thakur praised the programme.
