Lakshay Jindal, a student of Class XII (Medical) of the school, secured multiple gold medals at the 35th Sub-Junior and 47th Junior Punjab Swimming Championship 2024, held at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana. Lakshay Jindal’s remarkable victories include: gold medal in 100 m butterfly, gold medal in 200 m individual medley, gold medal in 400 m individual medley, gold medal in 400 m freestyle, gold medal in 200 m freestyle, gold medal in 4x100 m freestyle relay, gold medal in 4x200 m freestyle relay and gold medal in 4x100 m medley relay. These exceptional performances have earned him the title of ‘Best Swimmer in Punjab in Group-1 (U-17)’. His dedication and perseverance have not only made us proud but also secured him a place in the upcoming 50th Junior National Championship, which will be held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
