St Soldier Elite Convent School, Jandiala Guru

The CBSE’s cluster games of kabaddi events for girls were held at Guru Teg Bahadur Public School, Jalandhar. In these competitions, the U-19 kabaddi girls’ team of St Soldier Elite Convent School, Jandiala Guru, won the second runner-up trophy. Boys’ kabaddi events were held at Sant Kabir Gurukul School, Fazilka. In these competitions, the boys’ U-19 kabaddi team of the school won the first runner-up trophy. Around 25 CBSE schools participated in these events. Player of Saint Soldier School Davinder Singh was honoured with the trophy of the ‘Best Stopper’. In the athletics games of the cluster of the CBSE, the school players also performed well. In these games, Parneet Kaur won gold medal in the U-17 1,500 m race and Ripon Jot Kaur won bronze medal in the U-19 javelin throw. Sahaj Preet Kaur won silver medal in the U-19 category. On reaching the school, all these players and coach Manpreet Kaur, DP, were warmly welcomed by school Managing Director Dr Mangal Singh Kishanpuri and Principal Amarpreet Kaur.
