St Mary’s School, Mohali

The school celebrated Diwali. A special assembly was conducted, where students showcased their talent in various cultural performances. The students were attired as Diwali characters, adding to the festive atmosphere. They performed a mesmerising dance, which was followed by a thought-provoking skit highlighting the significance of Diwali. To encourage creativity and teamwork, several competitions were organised. ??Diya and candle decoration competition was organised for students of classes I-V. An inter-house display board competition, with the theme of Diwali, and rangoli-making competition were organised for students of classes VI-X. Principal Bijumon Thomas and teachers emphasised the importance of celebrating a green Diwali, urging students to minimise waste and pollution during the festivities.
