Abhinav Thakur, Class X student of the school, bagged medals and positions in various chess tournaments. He secured the 30th position and earned a medal in the open-level category in the PCA Online Chess Tournament, organised by the PCA Chess Academy, held on the online platform Lichess.com. In the sixth SCA Cash Prize Tournament, conducted by Sahil Chess Academy, at Anne’s School, Kharar, Mohali, Abhinav secured the sixth position in the U-15 category. His outstanding performance earned him three medals. He participated in the fifth SCA Cash Prize Tournament, also organised by Sahil Chess Academy, at TMS School, Mohali. Competing once again in the U-15 category, he secured the sixth position and was awarded two medals.
