The annual cultural eve, ‘Expressions’ was celebrated at the school. The chief guest was Ramandeep Kaur, Deputy Secretary and Head of the Centre of Excellence (CoE), Chandigarh. The event began with ‘Ganesh Vandana’. Thereafter, the stage came alive with the graceful movements of dances like bhangra and a Punjabi folk dance Sammi, titled ‘Harvest Hues’. A patriotic dance, ‘Veer Bhumi’, was a powerful tribute to the brave hearts of the nation. The story of Lanka, a dynamic presentation of Ravan, was a profound reminder of the dangers of unchecked power and arrogance. A tribal dance enthralled the audience with the mystic dragon and colourful costumes. A western dance performance full of energy and dynamic movements had the most visually stunning props. Other items included a choir with soulful melodious songs and a hilarious Hindi nukkad natak, which unfolded with a series of witty dialogues, leaving the audience in splits. The Head Boy and the Head Girl proudly enumerated the remarkable achievements undertaken in the past year. The school proudly honored its alumni who are currently doctors or medical students. It was a significant milestone when 80 students, driven by their creativity and determination, wrote and published their very own books. It was an equally proud moment when the Yearbook was released, capturing the memories, achievements and spirit of the entire school year. Principal Monica Chawla showered love for the zealous participants and lavished praise on the staff.
